There is a place in a catty corner space
Just down yonder a spell
They've got good eats and man that beats
McDonalds or a Taco Bell
When I'm thinkin' 'bout goin' out drinking and
Singin' and gettin' kinda wild
There's no mistakin' which boat I'll be takin'
I'm a sailin' to the Emerald Isle

Well it's Friday night and I'm feelin' alright
Bar tender can I have another beer
It's a gettin' late and I stood up a date
'cause I heard about the pretty girls here
I go out to where I shout "hey"
The cover charge is two dollars and a smile
Let me tell ya brother there aint no other
Like the one and only Emerald Isle

Just mosey yourself on up to the bar
Those tenders are happy to oblige
There's ice cold beer and atmosphere
And lots of pretty green foliage
You can pick your seat and rest your feet
And settle on in for a while
Get out the compass and have the captain dump us off
Early at the Emerald Isle
